Leadership styles training

Leadership styles training helps leaders and managers to clarify and reflect on their natural leadership style and compare this to the options available.

“Be a Leader every day, and use words if you have to.”

A quote based on the words of St Francis of Assissi. This workshop helps leaders to explore the impact of leadership and that leadership is about what we say, but even more about what we do.

Leadership behaviours are those which demonstrate that we are a leader. It is all too easy for any leader to describe what they want to happen, but not to demonstrate that desire in their own actions.

Leadership styles training in 2015

Leadership styles training looks at the definitions of leadership such as; ‘walking the walk not just talking the talking’, or ‘Don’t do as I say do as I do’.
The simple idea is that we show leadership by demonstrating the skills, behaviours and attitudes to inform others of what we expect in them. So for example, if a partner or director wants the firm to be as efficient as possible, they demonstrate efficiency in the way they run their practice area or office. If a partner, or director wants the firm to be effective in managing large pieces of work, then they must do so first in how they manage their projects.
If the partner, or director wants the firm to be an innovative and creative work environment, then they must reward and encourage such thinking from everyone.
