Helping your people through change is one of the most important leadership and management responsibilities.
Change management training in 2015
Change management training is increasingly required for managers responding to the needs of their organisation. As change becomes the norm managers need to know how to guide their people through the change. Understanding the reactions to change of different personalities is key; Knowing how to help ‘steady’ personalities typical with people in roles which include helpful, informative, repetitive and process driven attributes. Appreciating the potential reaction of more analytical people is vital. Working out how your more social people can help their colleagues is also a useful strategy.
Change management training from ITD
Change management training with ITD is practical; we help people to develop strategies and ideas which will be useful in their understanding of their own reaction to change; we work on their typical change scenarios to give then ideas and tips in implementing change. We then go on to explore how to manage that change for a successful conclusion. The participants are working on their business whilst learning about to implement changes successfully.

Change management training – overview
Background to our approach to change management training
Why do people need leading through change?
People fundamentally do not like uncertainty and any change brings uncertainty. For this reason and others people do need helping through change.
How different is positive and negative change?
It depends what sort of change but it can be surprising how people react very similarly to both.
Do individual people’s reaction to change differ?
Absolutely. A person’s work style and personality will often drive how they react to change. And their reaction may be very different from their logical considered thoughts on the change.
