We have been working with this law firm for some years and were asked to design and deliver a session that would provoke thinking and allow people the space and environment to share their thoughts and views on this difficult subject.

Need

The specific need was simply to raise awareness and provide a safe space for discussion.

Activity

The session is a delicate blend of presentation of ideas, research and examples, along with discussion. We use breakout rooms to facilitate discussion.

We reviewed the following areas:

  • Examples.
  • Your experiences.
  • How to deal with microaggression.
  • Personal actions.

Outcomes

Each participant left with at least one practical action to try to implement ion their daily work.
