Presenting a Webinar

Presenting a Webinar

A webinar is a virtual or online presentation of ideas and thoughts. It usually means signing up or registering before hand. Typically delivered by a subject matter expert or an expert panel, sometimes with an invigilator.

This presenting a webinar workshop gives the opportunity to review some of the skills and approach. It is a very practical session which covers areas such as developing your vocal skills, creating more impact with your camera and improving your content.

The training can involve practise, but this depends on the length of the workshop.

Pre-workshop

There is no required pre-workshop task, but it is always useful to consider your skills in presenting a webinar and where you would like to develop.

Post workshop

Each participant is emailed a pdf version of the slides used in the workshop, including screengrabs of their on-screen work.

This screengrab gives a good indication of participant actions from this presenting a webinar training

In-person or virtual

The session works well as a virtual workshop but can be very good as a part one in-person session, followed by a virtual practise session.

Number of Participants

Twelve participants always works well, but we can adapt the session for any number.

Tailoring the training to your needs

If you have specific requirements for the training we can tailor the content to suit these needs. For example, if you have a particular webinar to deliver or series of webinars, we can tailor the content to give more focussed ideas.
