Background

Managing people and clients can be challenging in any market, industry and sector. At ITD we work with many diverse sectors including in education at nursery, school and university levels.

Need

The need was to give successful managers extra tools in their tool kit to work with challenging situations.

Activity

This workshop was tailored to Rainbow Nurseries. We focussed on the challenging situations managers had in day-to-day work. We looked at each situation and new approaches were introduced, developed, discussed and practised.

The ITD Work Styles Model explains the many versions of ‘normal’ that exist in the personalities of people around you at work. It gives you a language to describe yourself and your colleagues. The model is easy to understand and simple to apply, which made this session practical and engaging.
