Background
The Northwest Europe area has a group of around 18 young professionals in the Graduate Development Program, who ocassioally require external resources. This year PepsiCo truned to ITD for delivery of this training.
Training need
The proposal was to design and deliver a virtual training webinar on Presenting with Impact, with the desired outcomes being:
- Raising the participants’ awareness of some of the most important aspects to presenting with impact.
- Gaining ideas on how to develop these skills.
Activity
The virtual presenting with impact webinar PepsiCo was designed to give ideas on how to create impactful presentations, and increase confidence in delivering virtual and live presentations, to engage with colleagues or clients.
The new reality is that many people in organisations need to be at least competent presenters. There is a need to be comfortable, engaging and sometimes persuasive when presenting.
This engaging webinar gave participants lots of ideas and food for thought on how they prepare for and communicate when presenting. Any questions they had were answered during the session.
The webinar also included time for participants to practice the skills with feedback from their colleagues and the trainer.
The session gave a host pf practical tips and strategies based on the trainer’s 20+ years of experience. This includes in designing and delivering presentations, and training on these skills.
Outcomes
The participants were fullt engaged throughout the session. Each person gained practical ideas on what they did well and where to develop.
