Presenting with Impact Virtually
The new reality is that many of us need to be excellent communicators in the virtual world. This often means being able to engage and discuss through Teams, or similar platforms. There is a need to be comfortable, engaging and sometimes persuasive using these platforms.

We are a worldwide leader in specialized diagnostics in the areas of Hemostasis, Acute Care Diagnostics and Autoimmunity. Through our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) business line, we research, develop and manufacture customized assays and biomaterials.
At present, we operate directly in nearly 30 countries and in more than 100 territories through distributors. Our R&D and production centers are located in the United States and Europe. In 2020, our revenues were € 1.696 billion and our workforce is 5,501 strong.
Need
The specific need was for the team working across Bangkok (Thailand), Jakarta (Indonesia), Manila (Philippines), Kual Lumpar (Malaysia). The team presents to colleagues and resellers in their countries. The key challenges included engaging with the audience and explaining complex data virtually.
Activity
We developed and delivered training in two 4 hour sessions, part 1 and part 2. Part 1 was focussed on new ideas and how to apply them in everyday situations. Part 2 was about practising these ideas with feedback and coaching.
Outcomes
The team thoroughly enjoyed the training and found lots of ideas and tuips to develop their approach.
