Background
With 9 offices in the Middle East across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt, Dentons also has the broadest network of any international firm in the region. This allows them to deploy the very best legal talent to their clients wherever they need to help them complete a transaction or resolve a dispute.
Need
The firm wanted a session during a retreat to give the team food for thought. We proposed a session on Personality at Work.
Activity
We designed and delivered a 90 minute conference workshop which explored the ideas of personality and work styles. This involved large group presentation and small group discussion. The large group included approximately 60 people arranged in tables of 8, where they could discuss ideas.
Each part of the ITD Work Styles Model was explored for self reflection and in terms of how to work with the different styles.
Outcomes
The team left the session with ideas about their own ways of working and how to interact with colleagues and clients.
