Background
The business invests regularly in the skills of the team across Europe. This programme was developed to cover wide ranging subject areas and lead to opportunities for personal development.
Need
Give managers in the organisation a programme of management training to support them in their role, equip them with the skills to do their job, as well as offer a first class service.
Activity
Met with internal customers and managers to clarify needs including specific difficult situations and on going challenges of the role.
Developed a programme of four workshops:
o Communication skills.
o Personal organisation.
o Skills in developing the team.
o Leadership skills.
The programme is a blended solution with an on line 30 min follow up session for each workshop.
Also includes personality profiling to develop self awareness.
One to one coaching follow up where required.
Outcomes
The main outcomes of this session were:
- Excellent feedback from participants and their internal clients and the managers’ teams.
- Raised the bar in terms of expected standards of the role.
