Motivation training – ITD
Motivation training helps managers and leaders work out what they need to do in order to motivate and maintain motivation in their team, or organisation.
We are often asked in our workshops, ‘how do we motivate our people. especially if; they have been with the organisation a long time; there is no career progression available; the job is quite dull.’
Motivation is important because it is often the driving force behind performance.
Motivation training in 2015
Motivation training is essential in the modern work place, as a demotivated team can dramatically affect performance.
Motivation is both a group dynamic and a personal dynamic. We need to motivate the team as a unit, which means looking at the culture, the vision and group performance. And we also need to look at each individual, what motivates them, what de-motivates them, the role of personality, moods, pressure from others, external influences, stress, reward and how they are managed and lead.
Motivation training with ITD
Motivation training with ITD is a very practical approach giving the participants a range of strategies, tips and ideas, based on a number of theories and research findings, as well as personal experience. The participants review these in light of their own challenges and training needs. At the close each person leaves with a series of actions to implement.
Typical challenges of participants on our motivation training
- “How do I motivate a person who has been in our organisation for 10 to 15 years?”
- “I want to know how to get the best from my team.”
- “I am new to management so I want to learn how to get it right.”
- “What are the basics of how to motivate people?”
How do we tailor our motivation training to your needs?
- We realise that motivation training needs to be designed and delivered within the context of your organisation. What is possible and what is probable need to be reflected in the training.
- We discuss with you your training needs and desired outcomes, as well as the current status of the participants and their needs for motivation training.
- We design the training workshop based on these discussions and review the content according to your thoughts and views.
