What is an Internship?
An internship is a good way of getting experience in a role. Without getting a full time job you can see whether that role is one you would like to go for in the future. It’s also a good way to gain experience in a market. Sometimes this can be very difficult when people say you can’t get a job without experience and you can’t get experience without a job.
What is an Internship with ITD?
An internship at ITD means you will be doing some important work whilst gaining experience. You will be given training on the role, what’s expected and how to go about things. We will also support you through the internship with at least weekly contact via Skype plus messaging. And whilst you are an intern we will give you the benefit of accessing some of our soft skills training.
Sales Research Internship
The role:
To identify organisations which outsource soft skills training.
Data mine key organisational data, contacts and contact details.
About You:
This is a remote position meaning that you can do this work from anywhere.
You will need to be able to speak, write and read business English.
What you will receive:
You will receive training on how to go about this research internship. This will include training on Excel and Skype plus the skills required in looking for and analysing prospect data.
There will be regular on line contact and a weekly Skype call.
Each week you will be able to attend a 1 hour ITD training webinar on a variety of soft skill training subjects.
At the end of the internship you will receive a full reference of your experience, training received and achievements of your internship.
This is an unpaid internship.
What you will need to achieve:
You will have targets to achieve in the number of organisations to research. These will be achievable and vary depending on the size of organisation.
Contract Opportunity Research Internship
The role:
Search and find opportunities for training contracts.
Research how to submit proposals to the opportunities. Explore what documentation the prospect requires, what format is required. Understand the criteria the prospect requires and assess whether ITD has the minimum requirement to be able to submit a proposal.
About You:
This is a remote position meaning that you can do this work from anywhere.
You will need to be able to speak, write and read business English.
What you will receive:
You will receive training on how to go about this research internship.
There will be regular on line contact and a weekly Skype call.
Each week you will be able to attend a 1 hour ITD training webinar on a variety of soft skill training subjects.

Training Proposal Writing Internship
The role:
Write training proposals and support documentation. When an opportunity has been identified a training proposal needs to be submitted. This internship is for a person to draft these proposals.

This is a remote position meaning that you can do this work from anywhere.
You will need to be able to speak, write and read business English.
What you will receive:
You will receive training on how to go about this research internship.
There will be regular on line contact and a weekly Skype call.
Each week you will be able to attend a 1 hour ITD training webinar on a variety of soft skill training subjects.

Social Media Internship
The role:
To source relevant content, research findings, news, articles.
To write social media posts to Facebook, Instagram, twitter. LinkedIn, & ITD Blog.
About You:
This is a remote position meaning that you can do this work from anywhere.
You will need to be able to speak, write and read business English.
What you will receive:
You will receive training on how to go about this research internship. This will include training on how to use Excel and Hootsuite, It will also include training on how to draft social media content.
There will be regular on line contact and a weekly Skype call.
Each week you will be able to attend a 1 hour ITD training webinar on a variety of soft skill training subjects.
This is an unpaid internship.
